This was my first introduction to both authors and OH BOY! I don't understand why bookstagram hasn't hyped this book more, no idea why there weren't more book boxes including it and where's the so needed fanart to hold me until book 2 is published!?
The Other Side of the Sky follows the story of Nimh, a deity in the surface, and North, a prince of a city in the Sky, linked by a prophecy that shakes their believes and makes them question their duty.
This book is told from both main characters POV and each has such a different perspective and voice, it's really refreshing. It's a book where worlds collide, fantasy and SciFi, old and modern, science and religion, technology and magic, yet it blends so well you never feel they shouldn't go together.
I listened the audiobook and I HATED the female narrator, yet I couldn't stop listening to it! The story grabs you from the beginning and my only regrets are waiting so long to read it, and reading it so far away from the release of book 2!
