About this audiobook

He’s the man I absolutely hate.

Why?

He took my v-card.

He left me in a hotel room. Alone.

Four years later …

He’s a billionaire consultant, the No. 1 in NY City. (So much for karma!)

A demanding, bossy jerk who’s cocky AF—

and still panty-melting hot (See? No karma at all!)

He can’t even be bothered to remember my name.

Now, he holds the fate of my job in his hands.

I should resist him.

I shouldn’t let him tempt me.

At the very least, I should have stopped it with the kiss he gave me.

Our first hook up was by accident—one time only.

Unless you count the second, third, and fourth times…

Then, he says we’re more than friends, and I feel myself melt.

It turns out, even a man like him has a heart.

It’s unfortunate that we can’t be together.

Because he can never find out…

He’s the father of my child.

    3 Stars for me!

My rating range of this story... 2.5 - 3.5 Stars
    If significant, why?

    Main Character Ratings...
    H = 7
    h = 4

    Was cheating involved? No
Any major triggers to be aware of?

    Scenes with heat... Yes
What point does it start? 10%
How much of the story? 30%
    Anything beyond M/F? No
    If yes, explained

    Heat Rating... 7/10
Clean or Fade to Black - 1 or 2
    Normal to Descriptive 3-5
    Detailed Descriptive Sex - 6-7
Um, Wow, Beyond Descriptive Sex - 8 or above

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Close as there was quite a bit.

The back story... The MCs meet in a bar and agree to a one night stand! He leaves before she wakes up and they don't see each other again for 4 years, when he walks into her office.

The Romance... Starts out as instalust, then insta-rough. It does develop but difficult to see past the lust.

The drama explosion... The h freaks out on the H for something outside of his control.

Did it feel real or contrived? Contrived
    Was it OTT? OTT
    Separation involved? Yes
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok

Final Notes... The h is super angry because he left after a one night stand then gets angrier when he doesn't recognize her 4 years later... Not sure why she was angry as that is a one night stand.

She is also angry when he doesn't tell her everything immediately yet she was keeping a much bigger secret.

It is a cute story and I did enjoy it but the h acted too much like an 18 year old. I did enjoy how everything ended.

    HEA or HFN? HEA

Change the title.. The “H” is not a Billionaire and that is okay. The title sets unrealistic expectations. There also seems to be a lot to left out of the story.. it characters are underdeveloped and the ending seems incomplete.

The book/plot we’re fine but why is a dual pov book being narrated by one person??

They went a wholeeeee book without bringing up that he’s the father…… terrible. Naomi was dumb as a box of rocks. Not once did she say “I’m so nervous to tell him he’s the father” “idk how I will say it to him”. Terrible story line…. They have so much time to discuss about the son…. They don’t bring him up until they’re almost done with the book. Like what???? The title of the book BABY. Not one mention about him being the father. Terrible ending. (the moment I find the father of my child I tell him he has a son) Naomi is terrible for this. The story makes nooooooo sense.

    4 stars Blurb describes book.
Loved the book. Unfortunately it needed both a male and female narrator. It was bizarre to listen to D.C. Cole use the same deep male voice for both the female and male characters.

I liked the story and I would’ve given it 4 stars if the profanity was better. The word f used was not necessary for the story to be good. It was a disappointing to hear that word and it put a stop to listening or reading any of this author books.she seemed to be a good writer.

The book started off with them allegedly having sex. The author literally skipped over the entire event. Don't pawn off a book as smut and not give any. So pissed off I won't read this author again.

I liked the book. I give it 4 stars only because there are too many sex scenes.

The story was great, but the whole thing is narrated by just the guy, even the female pov. I wish they had gotten a girl for the female parts. He's a good narrator, but he kind of sounds like Chucky's dad from rugrats. Gets a little irritating. The book needs to be redone with a female narrator as well. Now im trying to figure out if i want to listen to the rest of the series or just read it since its all doen the same way by the same guy.

This was a fun read. Romance, without too much drama, and a HEA.
