- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not sure I would call it poetry... thoughts, musings of a famous person — yes! But there only a few that stuck out to me but hidden among so many items... was hoping for her to dig a bit deeper and tell the stories in full...

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A bit dark for my tastes but she’s a good poet.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved this poetry collection by Halsey. I have been a fan of her music for a while and I was happy to see this side of her. The poems are varied and beautiful. I love metaphors and imagery. My only wish they had a stronger thematic link. The poems are obviously very personal for the author and that’s what connected them but I feel like I wanted a little bit more.
All in all, it’s a great debut poetry collection. I can see myself rereading it.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5She adds a few words not present in the written version. Also, the audiobook skips one of the poems. But it was a great experience to read while listening to her at the same time
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved all these poems.so many amazing ones I’m not sure how I could pic a favorite
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5If you’re wanting something light and uplifting this isn’t for you. I knew what I was getting myself into, so it’s no problem for me. I really enjoy how raw and unfiltered she was in this book. Definitely recommend if you’re a Halsey fan.
