Great story, and gives all the warm fuzzies. That said, you have to wonder why this perfect man dropped out of nowhere and fell in love at first sight. It’s one thing if they are resistant to settling down and then get caught up, but him a nod his family seem to have no hang ups, so why still single?

Definitely a bit predictable and the main characters banter back and forth was a bit too much. Started to become annoying. The ending was so random and abrupt. Overall it was ok. Good sex scenes but story mediocre at best.

All I have to say is that the guy is a controlling disrespectful Christian Grey type but without the character development and no real personality. I was bored and the plot seemed like an afterthought to the poorly constructed romance between ppl who knew each other like 2 weeks before they were “madly in love” when it was actually just the girl caving to the guys controlling tendencies. It wasn’t really about anything at all. And the spice was ruined in my mind by the fact the guy was there lol I didn’t like him at all.

I really enjoyed this book. Dexton was very controlling, but he really did love Dakota. Overall, the book was a four therefore very readable.

I really loved this story. I didn't have a problem with Braxton's stalkerish behaviour. I think it was all coming from a good place. I do usually prefer dual pov and dual narration. But Maya Starling did a great job of narrating this sexy book.

3.5 stars for me. Really loved their chemistry and playful banter and I related to the leading lady in her quest to find herself again, that independence and trust she wanted. I was disappointed with how she handled the drama in the book which only came in at the very end of the story. I found myself not wanting to finish the story because she became kinda pathetic at the end, all this fire in her when he does stupid little white lies that mean nothing but rolls over all gooey eyed when she finds out the big thing he's lied and kept from her from the second day he knew her, infuriating. It was a great read up to the end where everything happens and is over before you even knew there was drama. Seemed rushed but you do get your HEA, just wish the ending had more substance and she kept that fire in her and didn't become so dependant on him fixing everything for her.
