He was a bad seed and did not have a Halloween costume so decided to lie and say : "Attention people today a big storm is happening and a big bunch of squirils are heading this way so that means Halloween is canceled." He did not notice that he said a very, very big bad lie. Then a pumpkin seed came up to him and had a discussion with him. After that short discussion he said again : "Attention everyone, I had noticed that I had said a big lie and Halloween is no longer cancelled". Because of that discussion he said: "From now on I am a good seed. I learnt that you should never not even once tell a lie". My favourite part was when he became a good seed and I hope that was your favourite part too. Thank you for reading my review and I hope you enjoy. ~Mariam Mhamdi, 7 years old.

Halloween is about having fun and the spirit of the season. It is not about the perfect costume. But try telling that to Sunflower seed. They is in a rotten mood. Their friends are not doing a group costume and he is afraid his costume will be lame. With a help of a friendly pumpkin seed, they will find their season spirit and not miss out on all the Halloween fun.

Super cute illustrations with seeds, fruits, and veg dressed up for Halloween.Lesson about the focus of FUN at Halloween and not on intricate costumes. Some of the vocabulary seemed too advanced for the younger set if you were to read it out loud at story time.I would say 2nd-3rd graders or more independent readers might enjoy this the most.
