He worked for the American Friends Service Committee and then the Fellowship of Reconciliation. He resumed college teaching in the early ‘70’s joining the faculty of Hunter College, where he taught British Nineteenth Century literature, anti-war literature, and memoir writing. He has published a book of poems, Growing Pains.view less
