Both of her parents are from Haiti, and she is very proud to repres...view moreWes Letang was born and raised in Miami, Florida; she is twenty-five years old. She has two siblings, one brother and one sister. Both of her parents are from Haiti, and she is very proud to represent such a proud culture. Her mother worked in a factory in Haiti, installing radio parts together, and her father served in the army in Haiti; both of her parents currently reside in Florida. Her love for writing and journey began at the tender age of thirteen. The first poem that she wrote was a love poem dedicated to her cousin Kat and her boyfriend at that time. Her passion for poetry developed by dedicating poems to her friends and family. She was then inspired by an English adjunct professor to write Bare. Bare is the first poetry book that she has ever written; she is interested in writing more poetry and introducing new fiction stories. She does not limit or confine herself to anything. She is always willing to learn, try, and produce new things.view less
