During the following three decades, he studied volcanoes for the U.S. Geological Survey. He then “retired” to become an Adjunct Geology Professor at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff. In 2013, Duff and his wife, Anne, moved to Greenbank, Washington, where they garden, read, write, and age.view less
