Truly enjoyed this book! You will laugh, cry, and be totally engrossed. Take two people who have lost their way in their marriage, add unfortunate weather, a dash of a stalker/killer, and hot chemistry and you have a recipe for a fun read. Definitely recommend it. Be sure to keep your tissues handy. I cried my eyes out!

This book is about an estranged married couple who are reunited after a year of complete separation. The wife (Zoe Hughes) has a honeymoon resort (purchased after she fled L.A. and her marriage) on an island in the archipelago (a chain, group or cluster of islands) of Tonga and has everyone (honeymooners etc) convinced that her and her husband are still very much together and in love. A large travel magazine contacts her, they want to do an article on her resort and her successful, loving marriage "Oh crap Sacks: Zoe calls her husband (Rory Hughes (Being a Doctor Who fan I loved the name Rory being used)) and awkwardly requests his presence at the resort. Rory, somewhat begrudgingly acquiesces. And so begins the tale...We get both perspectives throughout the book on the rise and fall of their marriage, where they are in their lives right now, who they are, and how they feel. We notice right away that they are still very, very much attracted to each other. Their physical (read as: Sexual) chemistry is off the charts. If only they can get their heads in order. It's a love story with a twist here and a turn there and (thankfully) a HEA. In general, I liked this book very much. I have a preference for the easy reads that do not have too much heartache and angst. Don't get me wrong, I like the angsty ones too, but I choose depending on how my day/week is going. As I am not that geographically minded I did have to look up a few things along the way about Tonga, but while this can be a little tedious, it is also a chance to learn something new. Overall, A Great read!

Zoe & Rory may be living apart, but they are still married. And Zoe needs Rory's help as her husband one last time before calling it quits legally. Rory comes from LA to the island of Tonga (where Zoe now lives and runs a honeymoon resort) to help both of their businesses with good publicity. (Soften up his image and strengthen her's.)But the lines between what's for show and what's real blurr when Zoe's life is endangered.I thought this was a good, light romance. I liked both characters and their chemistry was good. I thought the story was interesting enough. Rory is a alpha male who has put work first too much and Zoe is trying to find her place outside of his world. I couldn't give it more stars though because it definitely wasn't a "I can't put this book down" kind of read either. I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review for Netgalley.

This delightful novel has everything I enjoy in a story . Humor, a beautiful tropical island, a love story, and.... a sweet one-eyed rescued dog. It did have one thing I don't like. A terrible tropical storm!Zoe Hughes is the owner manager of a resort on the island of Tonga. It's called Honeymoon Heaven, and has received a lot of notoriety as a wonderful honeymoon retreat. Part of the glamour of the resort is the fact it is run by the perfect married couple. A well known magazine wants to come to the island to photograph the resort, and the happy couple who run it. Zoe is thrilled by the publicity, but terrified that they will find out there is one big fat lie. . Zoe and her husband Rory are separated and have not spoken in a year! Rory is a workaholic business man in LA known as the Ice Man. The first few years of their marriage Rory worked very hard setting up his business to be able to provide nice things for Zoe. Soon he just loved the thrill of the takeovers, and making more money. Zoe tried telling him how unhappy she was, but he was never home. So, she left. Now she desperately needs his help. He agrees to come, but secretly plots how he will get her to go back to LA.Rory's first few days in Tonga are hysterical. He struggles to try and run his business with an antiquated computer system and no cell phone service. Gradually he settles in to island life , though continuing to plot getting Zoe back "home".The description of the Island, it's people and Zoe's life there is excellent. You can almost feel the warm sun, and tropical breezes. There is danger from an unexpected source and a looming storm coming their way. As a reader I just wanted to shake Zoe and Rory to make them see how much they really loved each other. I certainly don't blame Zoe for never wanting to leave her paradise.I highly recommend this novel , it is a wonderful story, and I found my self smiling when I turned the last page. Oh, and it has a lot of ABBA music! This novel was given to me for an honest review. No compensation was offered nor accepted.

When Zoe Hughes left her husband, the last thing she wanted was to have to talk to him again. But as luck would have it, she needs him if she wants to continue to expand her island paradise. When Rory agrees to come, he plans to bring his wife back home to L.A, not really understanding why she left in the first place. As Zoe and Rory spend time together, they both find that they are still extremely attracted to each other. But is either willing to sacrifice what they’ve worked so hard for in order to give their marriage another shot? Two fiery characters, a tropical paradise setting, a little drama, and a lot of chemistry make for an AWESOME book! I loved this book and couldn’t wait to find out what happened next! Grab a chair by the water and enjoy! Ms. Manning has delivered a sizzling summer read with Wife in Name Only.
