    This book describes and illustrates how the iPad can be used as a tool to enable and enhance lifelong learning. Using this eBook you will learn to learn by focusing on the four lifelong learning ingredients Motivation, Time, Goals, and Tools. You will be given advice on how to use your iPad to apply each of the learning ingredients and you will learn how to use your iPad to create your own Personal Learning Environment that comprises a Virtual Classroom, Virtual Library and Virtual Playground.
    You will also create a Personal Learning Network for communicating with teachers and other learners using Facebook Groups and Pages and Twitter.
    The book provides two case studies that you can apply to your own learning goals.

    Tony is an educational technology consultant. Prior to his ‘retirement’ Tony was NSW TAFE’s Director of Technology and Arts and Media Educational Services. He was the founding CEO for the Federal Government’s Co-operative Multimedia Centre and the Manager of the State Government’s Water Conservation Commission’s Photogrammetry Division. He has taught at college and university levels for more than 30 years and received national awards from the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD), in addition to the Computer World Fellows award for ’Outstanding Contributions To Computing In Australia’.
