A full-length comedy sketch in the style of Victoria Wood’s humor
A serious-looking woman (30-50 yrs) is centre-stage at a conference. She is a keen and earnest advocate of all things health, safety and politically correct. She addresses the audience of like-minded individuals.
Woman: Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you so much for joining me today for the launch of a new book of fairytales, co-produced by the British Society for Political Correctness and the National Board of Health and Safety.
I think we can all agree that with just a little tweaking, we’ve produced a wonderful, safe and confidence-boosting selection of stories that children will enjoy for years to come.
I shall be reading from the book which is available for purchase in the foyer along with a selection of gender-neutral toys.
