The novel was written between 1914 and 1915. It was published after about ten years in 1925.
The Trial
is considered as one of Kafka’s best known works. The story of the novel revolves around a man who is arrested and prosecuted by a remote and almost inaccessible authority. Neither the accused nor the readers know about the nature of that man’s crime, because it is never revealed.
Most of Kafka’s other works are also never completed like the present work
