About this ebook

Angela's life had taken a turn for the better when she'd had a torrid affair with her hot masseur, Derek, but he had to suddenly leave town and now she was stuck again with her loveless marriage without hope for passion or romance. All she wanted from her life was a little passion, sizzle and the unrelenting desire her husband never showed her. Would it ever be hers?

Almost ready to give up and resign herself to a life devoid of all these things she craved, Angela finds out her dance club is putting on an elegant masquerade ball for their annual celebration. She loves to dance and can't wait to see the beautiful dresses, dancing and, of course, the exquisite masks that everyone will wear to the party.

What she doesn't realize is that she will meet a mysterious stranger that will capture her imagination and rekindle the desire in her heart.

    Angela's Masquerade - Rebecca Hunt

    Angela’s Masquerade

    By Rebecca Hunt

    Copyright 2013 Rebecca Hunt

    Smashwords Edition

Angela hadn’t seen Derek, her sexy masseur, for over a month. She had called the spa where she had met him but they said he was no longer working there. He had moved out of state to somewhere warmer they had said but the girl she had talked to had no idea where. After he had seduced her so amazingly the first time she had gone there for a massage (based on her best friend Theresa’s recommendation), Angela had found a way to go back every month for the rest of the summer. Each visit had been even more incredible than the last. He began every session with a massage that melted her like butter, taking away all the tension and stress she had built up in the interim. And every visit ended with them making torrid, passionate love like two lovers that had been separated from one another for months. The ecstasy that he brought to her body both with the massage and the lovemaking was like none she had ever felt. She found herself daydreaming at her job after they were together, thinking how wonderful it had been and immediately looking forward to the next time.

And now he was gone. The fantasy had come to an end. Her heart sank sadly in her chest as she thought about it for what seemed like the hundredth time that minute. Upon first hearing that he had left, she had considered setting up a new appointment, hoping perhaps that lightning could strike in the same place twice and she would find a new lover at the spa as she had found Derek. But she knew it was a longshot at best and chose instead to let those cherished memories remain as they were, sweet and sexy dreams of an experience she would always treasure with a man that knew how to rock her world in ways that she had never even considered possible. She also knew it would never really be the same in her heart, even if she did find someone else. It wasn’t just about the sex but rather the connection they had made with one another. And, frankly, it felt a little tawdry to her to go back looking for another lover in that way. Once was fate, kismet, destiny. A second time felt desperate and sad to her.

As she put everything in order on her work desk at the end of the day, getting ready to head out for the evening, Angela rejoiced that it was her night for dance class. She loved to dance and went every week to a local dance club to take lessons. She went alone generally. The Blob as she referred to her obese and cold husband, didn’t like dancing at all and preferred to spend time on the computer at home rather than take her out for something she liked to do. He was apparently content to let her go by herself on the one night she got to get out of the house for some fun. She let out a little sigh as she considered how empty their relationship really was when viewed in the light of day. It was depressing to say the least. He didn’t really even seem to care if she had a fling
