About this ebook

When socializing in the internet, one must realize that the world is full of crime. No one will sympathize with your failures to take note of dangerous proposals. Internet crimes are cross boarder events. As much as the governments are trying to protect their citizens, the governments’ own hands are full of cyber crimes. One must watch out for self while surfing the internet. Often times, some matters come across the screen and become so tempting. Nothing would be better than your own judgment. I have made money in the internet and I have lost some too. I have learned a hard lesson. Listen to your heart before you press that button! Another warning to heed is that one from the service providers; it is not prudent to take risks that leave entirely without any kind of redress. Cyber crimes have permeated every bit of our internet lives. The personal computer and the phone have acted like a door and a window that have no grills for security. Hacking is the order of the day such that your data is not safe. Your phone can secretly interact with your next door neighbour’s computer and exchange data. In other words, if someone is not trying to steal your money, another is trying to steal your precious data. The Egyptians used papyrus material for paper, for over a thousand years, the paper industry has been very vital, today; bit by bit we are moving over to electronic storage of data. The entrepreneur and the thief are upping their skills; we are on a chase board!

Will Anthony, Jr

Will Anthony Jr. is currently the Chairman of the Uasin Gishu County Land Control Board which caters for over one million people. Before this stint, he worked in other capacities with the National government. He has also been lecturer in three religious institutions, a service to the youth to gather knowledge from the aging population. In his life time, Will Anthony Jr. says he has met a lot of people and can unflinchingly say that he loved most of them. Why most of them? Well, it is a tall order to love everyone you meet! Will Anthony Jr. has written several e-books touching on diverse subjects that relate to society. The books extensively cover human social and economic practices and this is so because expertise in one field in Africa can become a drudgery according to his practical view. His perception is that if you were born in Africa and the continent is your aboriginal home, you are likely to have English as your second language (ESL). Sometimes it could even be a third language. For him, he had to learn his mother tongue then learn both English and Swahili simultaneously. He went to his pre-primary bare foot, later he joined the local primary school 5 Km away and had to trek barefoot again not because his parents could not buy him shoes but because cobblers were a rare find. That journey was a daily toil of 10 Km, 5 days in a week or ~270 days yearly for 7 years. With a smirk he says that when you achieve a PhD in Africa, then You have done Plenty of hard Digging (PhD) or you have a Permanent head Damage (PhD) and you might end up in a ditch because your IQ cannot contain the booze like the local fellas!"Why did the English colonize Africa?" To keep the African languages in Czech (check), and he says that one must forgive this pun. But besides the pun, English has broken both social and economic barriers of the once "dark continent" whose forefathers slaved the white farms and firms to lace the pockets of their Lords.A PhD holder in Africa will still practice other 'trades' though they maybe 'very' learned because poverty is shameless, one has to draw bounds through plenty of smart work or else, it will be a shame to steal so as to maintain class. He published a book in 1992, but the publisher coned him , he took her to court and the case aged in judicial corridors for 12 years. He then made a decision to abandon the matter and to forget about writing books. However, Self publishing made him to change that decision. More than anything, He salutes Smashwords Inc. for the platform. In retrospect, He recalls a Dr. Alfred Sam, a friend of his from North America who was also a dean of studies in a local university, exposing his white ass in the university's auditorium to catch attention. The noise ceased as students and lecturers turned to look at the grown-up man on the podium doing the abominable. Well, the good Dr. in anthropology then simply pulled up his trousers buckled the belt and said, "Thank You, now I have your attention..."For the sake of simplicity, without much display of academia, Will Anthony Jr. is a writer in the global village market . For this, he Salutes all his readers and all lovers of written work. In a word of caution, he says that men and women alike must bear. In reference, there is an Ibo saying that every market place has it's mad people who will attempt to mar the business of the seemingly sane people. On the other hand, the English say everyone is mad, it's only the degree madness that is at variance. Salutes most profoundly!

    ABOUT AUTHOR

    INTRODUCTION

Many people have joined the media sites to ease their difficulties of communication. The scope of the number of people joining the social media sites every day is outstanding. The telephony media operators, especially in developing countries have notched higher the stakes by providing free short message services (SMS) notifying cell owners if their friends are in facebook book site especially. The following is a scenario where hard times can lead a novice to lose hard earned money to facebook stalkers. I personally took the initiative to try and pursue to see how far the stalkers are willing to go. My mistake was to expose myself as an intelligent person. However, the stalkers assess their victims and they are very fast in their demands. This book is not about facebook as a social media site, but this media site offered me a platform to assess the tip of the "iceberg’ in the internet scams in Africa. The hot spot for crude internet scams in Africa is majorly the West Coast nations of Africa and South Africa. I have taken down the mails to show what goes on behind the scenes. The book is not an analysis of the scams in the internet, rather, it displays what the scammers say and do. A keen observer will always see the fault lines of the scammer’s ventures. The scammer has a system that operates within their precincts. Their system is not a touch and go, but a circus that gives you a make-believe seriousness.

    OLIVIA DIANE BARNABAS

Note: The first impression of this lady from her pictures is someone who lives well. Either this picture is for the communicator or of someone else stolen from a web page. She has passable English, but poor grammar. I have edited her letter for the purposes of e-book reading. She is using her facial exposure to lure. The know-it-all looks cannot be passed by so casually. If she had a better plan, she could easily cheat. She left a message in my facebook in-box; the only way to reach her is through her fake scam e-mail address. Her dressing tells one of a woman ready for ‘shriving’! There are no signs of a woman dwelling in squalid habitations, pure scam!

It was only me that is alive now and I managed to make my way to nearby country Senegal where am leaving now.

I would like to know more about you. Your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and what you are doing presently. I will tell you more about myself in
