Lily's parents travel for work often and they bring her along. This is a short and sweet picture book about a little girl and her stuffed animal seeing the world. Most of the places aren't really identified by name so you just have to look at the scenic views and guess. This is okay for adults, but I feel like young children will need some explanations to understand. The illustrations are charmingly stylized, and do feature diverse characters. Although it's not much to write home about, this is a decent story you can use to discuss friendship and being on the go. For what it's worth, "Lately Lily" is apparently a brand name used by the author to sell a variety of products.
