Seems to be geared to preteen girls, with its theme of ordinary girls being called Princess in the alternate world they explore. They each discover their special talent that will be needed to restore magic and life energy to the people of this world (and to return home themselves).I picked this up originally thinking to give it to my granddaughter, but after reading it decide not.
