      Beautiful story. Filled with passion, love, and family bonds stronger than steel. Miranda loved Decker since she was a kid, it evolved and grew while he loved her as well. Neither knew it till she gained the nerve to ask him out. Then things turned sour because Decker believed that he wasn't worthy of her with his family issues and fear, tried to scare her off. She didn't scare easy but went out with someone else. A scary s.o.b. With fine clothes and a cloak and beat attitude.Things become heated when he realizes he has to have her but when he admits that to himself he's still afraid. Becoming a couple with a time limit he didn't realize just how fast, or hard, he'd fall for Miranda. And with troubles outside their control; a clingy abusive ex and an abusive biological father out of jail, things just don't look up for the couple. Gratefully things turn bright in the end and I got my happily ever after, but I was afraid I might not have. Afraid yet giddyishly hopeful I would see them as a true couple, feelings and words said out loud couple.

      This review first appeared on A Weebish Book BlogMiranda Montgomery, the youngest kid of eight, has been in love with Decker Kendrick for as long as she can remember, while he’s always seen her as a little sister. Finally fed up with the family zone, she makes it her mission to show him what he’s missing out on. Decker Kendrick has been an honorary member of the Montgomery family since childhood. He loves the Montgomery family too much to make a move on Miranda, besides she’s much too good for the likes of him. Will Miranda be able to convince him to give her a chance or will the past defeat them before they can even try?This book had me sniffling so much. There’s a lot to Miranda & Decker’s story than meets the eye. I couldn’t help wanting to give them both cuddles—and the urge to lock them in a room and force them to get over their issues. They have a lot to overcome and it was hard to watch at times. If you are uncomfortable with abuse themes, this might not be the book for you.TEMPTING BOUNDARIES a was heart-jerking, emotional roller coaster that had me crying and had me sighing. It was steamy and heartfelt—a wonderful addition to the Montgomery Ink series. I need more!
