This book is aimed at children who need to concentrate and focus on reading, rather than identifying letters using the pictorial representation first. The first part of the book is a story, written using the Dolchlist Pre-primer words. The second part of the book comprises the Dolchlist pre-primer words.
The book, written in large letters, is easy to read. Pages are done separately, to address the issue of letter and picture distortion on some e-readers. The book makes extensive use of sight “flash” words from the Dolchlist to help children easily master sight words.
