      Jeanne Emanuel is a retired attorney, an artist and an author of children's books about dogs. She has a little rescue dog named Tipper who just makes everyone she meets fall in love with her. Jeanne decided that Tipper needed to be shared with the world, particularly dog lovers.  This book is the first in the Tipper series.
      Tom Emanuel is a retired entrepreneur who edits, illustrates and markets the Tipper books.  The Emanuel’s make their home in the northern part of Baja California.

      My name is Tipper.  Don't ask me why but it wasn't always that. I was born in Mexico and I still live there. I speak both Spanish and English out of necessity, so don't be upset if I mix them up sometimes.  I live in a small town called Rosarito Beach. It is close to the U.S. Border. I live almost on the beach which I really love. I go for runs on it with my friends almost every day. I can see it from my house and I can hear its roars all the time. Best of all I can smell it.
