I like to entertain my 22 year old sister by dancing for her when we are bored

Just like that you already know a lot about me.

You may not realize this, but everything that has happened to your life has happened for a reason. We go through things in life and we think to ourselves, why me? How could this happen to me but if you really stop and look, it happens for a reason. Sometimes it’s to teach us something; other times it’s so we can tell others about our experiences and let them heal.

After many encounters through life and experiencing many heartaches, I started to question why these things were happening to me. I found that I had no answers and I had no reason to explain why I would be the target for these horrible acts of nature in life.

When I look at my life now and how far I’ve come and how I actually never thought I’d make it to 35, I realize that everything that happened in my life to me was preparing me for this very moment in life.

It was preparing me to be a better person, it was preparing me to be a kind human being, it has been preparing me to be able to face the challenges that I now face in my life.

I wrote this book with you in mind, because I thought of all the things that you could’ve gone through and all the things that you did go through. To think that you are alive and well to read this book - to take note of what is happening around you. What has happened to the people you know and to those who have left this world?

I am convinced that God knows our end, our middle and certainly our beginning. I’m also very sure that he sees us in our darkest moments, brightest moments, and in our moments of despair; when we have no answers and all questions.

I wrote this book to tell you that you do not have to stay a victim of the series of things that happened to you.

I wrote it to remind you that although you seem weak, you are actually much stronger than you seem to be.
