About this ebook

Physical training has been advertised as having health improvement potential since more than half a century.
Professional experience and recent literature contradict several points of its practice.
Aim of this short text is outlining new concepts, as they appear today.
Some specialists advise only quarter of an hour Aerobics per day.
The neuro-vegetative system is heavily influenced by physical training:
– Cardio stimulates mainly its sympathetic pendant, while strength exercises – the parasympathetic one.
A wise balance between those two is crucial for health.

    Purpose of title

The theory invented by Swedish medical doctors half a century ago, about the beneficial effects of aerobics on human health, is contradicted by recent experience.

Medical doctors witness all over the world trainees with extensive manifestations of metabolic diseases, which fitness is supposed to counteract, according to advocates of such exercise.

Be it atherosclerosis, for which joggers are frequently treated, especially with arterial interventions for salvation of heart muscle.

Or high cholesterol, most frequent type of hyper-lipoproteinemia, against which Aerobics do not seem to have all advertised effect.

Or, more commonly, gout or even more frequently pseudo-gout (chondrocalcinosis), most frequent metabolic diseases of musculoskeletal system, and main providers of a huge pool of patients with osteo-arthritis (Called arthrosis in Europe.)
