    Introduction

Basically, most various artistic creations are made from different styles and procedures. Some instances include paintings, caricatures, clay arts, animations, comical arts and even landscaping arts. Nevertheless, let’s get into our main goal, the world of Dragon Arts. Drawing a dragon is also difficult, very unlike drawing a human being. Unlike mammals, dragons are much more difficult to draw because dragons possess scales.

Making a dragon or drawing a dragon is fun, yet at the same time difficult. However, when you see the outcome and you feel that you make a nice drawing of a dragon, you will then appreciate the dragon arts.

Nowadays, Dragons are considered as fictional creatures. However, when you read the Bible, the Bible tells us that Dragons existed in this world. Historians compare dragons to dinosaurs because of their aspects. There are also different types of dragons. Some possess wings and others can swim in the ocean. One thing is for sure, it is fun to know the history and the nature of dragons. Let’s get started.

    Brief History Of Dragons

The Dragons are considered fictional living creatures that lived on Earth. Dragons are much like dinosaurs that lived on Earth millions of years ago. Unlike dinosaurs, dragons are also destructive and in some mythology, dragons possess a power that can release flames blasting from their mouths. In some instances, dragons are considered evil but in some cases, dragons can also be good.

Stories and histories of dragons have been handed down through generations in different nations. These stories have been overstated through the years. However, that does not mean that the stories of the dragons had no original basis in fact. Consider the Komodo dragon; that is one basic way a dragon should look.

Try to read the Bible, the most issued book in history of mankind. Then, search for the word ‘dragon’ and you’ll find out that dragons have existed. For example, see the Behemoth (Job 40) and the Leviathan (Job 41), although the latest translations use the words hippopotamus, elephant or crocodile instead of Leviathan and Behemoth. The Hebrews do not allow for these interpretations and the context of the description itself.

Chapter 1: Drawing Basics and Fundamentals

    Materials Needed:

    •Pencil:

First, you need a pencil. This is important because a pencil is the best material for preparing a sketch instead of using a pen, because you can erase your mistakes if you get it wrong. It is also best for beginners, unlike pen.

    •Blank Paper:

Paper is also important. But I am not suggesting you have to use blank paper or bond paper. You can draw on any scratch paper if you opt, and feel better using it. Remember, it is easy to learn if you feel very comfortable rather than strained about something. If you feel forced to do something, it would probably slow your learning process in some instances.

    •Eraser:

When making a sketch you need to have an eraser. It is a requirement for doing stuff like this. In any attempt you will probably encounter some errors. Remember, trial and error.

    •Colored Pencils:

The purpose of colored pencils instead of colored pens and other coloring materials is that when we add
