About this ebook

The 1960's had a very big hit on college campuses with a little red book given over to the Socialist quotations of Mao Tse Tung. We in America have our very own prophet - a man who utters a true bonafide lie with every passing minute. Enjoy these blasts from the past. I'll bet you've forgotten many of them.

Quotations From Chairman Oba-mao - Vince Iuliano

    Quotations of Chairman Obama

    Introduction.

Candidate Barack Obama ran for President of the United States as a moderate, was elected in what journalist’s called a ‘historic’ vote (actually a squeaker), and then proceeded to govern as a Marxist.

He spoke not of America’s exceptionalism but of the ‘collective good’; not of individual and personal freedom but of limits to success and indeed, even of curbing freedom of speech on the internet and on conservative radio and tv.

In other words, the very freedom of disparate thought guaranteed in the Constitution ( a document President –elect Obama vowed – on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible- to uphold).

For the statist, America will always be an imperfect experiment. In this permanent half-empty scenario, it remains a nation of over-wrought corruption, under-wrought ideas, based on the imperfect ideals of ‘dead white European guys’. Any attempt to steer it on the right course must be a progressive movement - just as the word ‘progressive’ always seems to be used by the statist in a regressive way.

For President Obama admits that for him the Constitution is a living document – not a framework to necessarily be followed but rather a document to invite further discussion (The Audacity of Hope, by Barack Obama, p-89-92, 2006). In this context, it is no wonder that America has entered a lawless phase and drifted far from her representational Republic roots.

The Tea Party group (Taxed Enough Already), once reviled as a rebellious group trying to overthrow a soft tyranny, seems destined to repeat its historical triumph. In any case, you must admit that on several levels these are discomfiting times.

    Your humble editor,

    Barack on Apologizing for America

Some Americans only see the Mexico that is depicted in sensational headlines of violence and border crossings — and let’s admit it. Some Mexicans think that America disrespects Mexico, or thinks that America is trying to impose itself on Mexican sovereignty or just wants to wall ourselves off. And in both countries, such distortions create misunderstandings that make it harder for us to move forward together. So I’ve come to Mexico because I think it’s time for us to put the old mind-sets aside. It’s time to recognize new realities, including the impressive progress of today’s Mexico.
