img2.jpgThis is a Smart eBook. It operates like a conventional ebook to start with, then comes alive when you get to the questions.
__________
It is like a Maths tutor, as it sets you a multiple-choice question and asks you to tap the right (or nearest) answer. All options are in colour or underlined, or both.
img3.jpgIf you get it wrong, you are given a hint and it suggests you tap ‘Try Again’. If you get it wrong again, you can tap ‘Go to Answer’. Here you are given the answer and a complete explanation.
Now tap ‘Next Question’. Then after you have completed the questions on that subject, tap ‘Table of Contents’ for a list of the chapters (subjects) available.
__________
This Smart eBook is designed for a device with 1 page per screen, and portrait orientation. It still works with most devices and configurations, but it is better if used normally. Also if your screen is not touch-sensitive, just point and select, then select again to follow link or similar.
If any multiple-choice question with its 3 possible answers does not fit on one screen, reduce the font size. If the text is too big, the questions, hints or answers will not always fit on one screen each.
__________
You need to tap exactly onto the option you wish to select. It is often easier to do this if you are using a stylus. If you decide to use one, choose one suitable for your model.
If you do not tap in the right place, an error message will be displayed. After reading it, go back a page and try again. Remember to tap quickly.
Other than this, your device will operate as normal, and tapping on certain parts of the screen will have the normal effect. If, because of this, an Options Bar (or Bars) appears unexpectedly, tap again to remove it. If Options Bars keep appearing, make sure you tap the underlined options lightly and quickly, and also choose a time when your internet signal is strong. You can also try going backwards then forwards a page, or using a stylus.
Pythagoras Theorem

c² = a²+ b²
In a right-angled triangle, the side opposite the right angle is called the hypotenuse (c)
