    Psychic - Adam Watt

    The Beginning Lesson:

    Psionic Meditation, Grounding, and Centering

This meditation exercise is an excellent introduction to basic psionic meditation techniques.

The first thing you do is sit or lie in a comfortable position. Once you have achieved this, close your eyes. Make no effort to control the breath; simply breathe naturally.

Focus your attention on the breath and on how the body moves with each inhalation and exhalation. Notice the movement of your body as you breathe. Observe your chest, shoulders, rib cage, and belly. Simply focus your attention on your breath without controlling its pace or intensity. If your mind wanders, return your focus back to your breath.

Maintain this meditation practice for two to three minutes to start, and then try it for longer periods. Meditation is a key skill to learn when learning and performing psionics, be it the beginner or the master. Remember to meditate before performing any psionic or psychic ability, as you will get the best results and feel much better afterward.

    Centering:

Centering is simply returning all of your scattered energies to one’s self.

To center yourself, focus on your energy, visualize it entering your solar plexus and pull your energies into a tight ball – if you aren’t centered, you might feel like you’re top-heavy as if you were going to fall over.

Pay attention to your breathing while you call in all your energies; imagine yourself breathing in white cleansing energy and breathing out a cloud of dark and dusty vapor. This process can take 10-15 minutes while you’re first learning it, but once you have learned to center, you can do it with only a few breaths at any time.

    Grounding:

Grounding connects you to the energy of the earth and is important in psionics since it prevents you from depleting your own body’s energy.

Visualize standing in your bare feet on the ground. Plant your feet firmly, and imagine sending roots into the earth. As you breathe in, draw the energy up through your roots, and as you breathe out, send your roots deeper into the ground – try to go as deep as you can. Do this for a few minutes, and you should feel energized, alert, and overall wonderful.

     SECTION 1

    What is Sense?

The definition of sense is: A system that consists of a group of sensory cell types that responds to a specific physical phenomenon, and that corresponds to a particular group of regions within the brain where the signals are received and interpreted.

    Beyond the Five Sense Organs

In addition to sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing, humans also have an awareness of balance (equilibrioception), pressure, temperature (thermoception), pain (nociception), and motion all of which may involve the coordinated use of multiple sensory organs. The sense of balance is maintained by a complex interaction of visual inputs, the proprioceptive sensors (which are affected by gravity and stretch sensors found in muscles, skin, and joints), the inner ear vestibular system, and the central nervous system. Disturbances occurring in any part of the balance system, or even within the brain’s integration of inputs, can cause the feeling of dizziness or unsteadiness.

Kinesthesia is the precise awareness of muscle and joint movement that allows us to coordinate our muscles when we walk, talk, and use our hands. It is the sense of kinesthesia that enables us to touch the tip of our nose with our eyes closed or to know which part of the body we should scratch when we itch.

    Synesthesia

Some people experience a phenomenon called synesthesia in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another. For example, the hearing of a sound may result in the sensation of the visualization of a color, or a shape may be sensed as a smell. Synesthesia is hereditary, and it is estimated that it occurs in 1 out of 1000 individuals with variations in type and intensity. The most common forms of synesthesia link numbers or letters with colors.

    Proprioception

The term proprioception is used to describe the sensory information that contributes to the sense of the position of self and movement. Sir Charles Bell named the sixth sense as the sense of the positions and actions of the limbs (McCloskey 1972. Sherrington (1906) first used the term proprioception to define the sense of body position. Body position is perceived both at the conscious and unconscious levels. The information of conscious proprioception is utilized to facilitate complex motor activity, while unconscious proprioception is important to coordinate basic posturing during sitting, standing and simple gait activities. Defects in the conscious proprioception system manifest as stumbling, although gait and posture may be normal. Defects anywhere along the unconscious proprioceptive pathways may be manifest as postural deficits or ataxia.

Not altogether different from visualization, sensory attunement also focuses on enhancing your ability to perceive the environment around. With general Sensory Attunement in Psionics means to develop the natural five senses and using them in a Psionic fashion. This means that you will be training up the same sense that is triggered when you feel someone watching you. By harnessing this sense, it will be far easier to learn Psionics and also detect energy.

    What are psychic abilities?

Psychic abilities are defined as abilities that transcend the typical five senses. They have been featured in many books, TV shows, movies, and other media. Though in most cases, psychic skills in fiction are massively overpowered and unrealistic – at least for the beginner. In this book, you will learn the most crucial skills needed to progress in the field of psionics.

What is psionics and how does it relate to psychic abilities?

Psionics is the study, practice and practical application of psychic skills. Abilities like Telekinesis and ESP (Extrasensory Perception) require only the use of the mind. Everyone is naturally psionic, but most people are unaware of the reality of being a psion. Everyone has Telekinetic abilities; some choose to disregard it as New Age nonsense or simply, not use them for whatever reason. All psionic abilities exist in reality, and everyone can become a psion. They only need the knowledge of psi energy and the time necessary to learn to the powers of the mind. Belief and daily practice will allow you to become who you really are. The sixth sense is something we all have, but sometimes it lies dormant, and we have to learn (or re-learn) to use it once again.

     SECTION 2

    What is ESP?

ESP is extra-sensory perception, and it is also known as the sixth sense. But ESP is a broad range of different abilities. We all have our five main senses along with plenty of other ones. Our main senses are hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, and smelling and with ESP we can go further than just the basics. Some ESP skills are Precognition, Retrocognition, Scanning with Connections, Projective Sight (also known as Astral Sight), aspects of Telepathy, all types of Clairvoyance, Intuition, Mediumship, etc., etc.

When learning extra-sensory perception skills, one must know that some of these abilities are obtained by birth; some of them you can not just learn. But for most of them, you can learn them, but you have to understand the basics first. You can not just jump into some of these without learning energy manipulation and connections.

     SECTION 3

    Psionic Training for Beginners

    Foundations

The proper foundation for psionic training is Sensory Attunement, Patience, and Visualization. Sensory Attunement basically trains all five of your senses to reinforce a sixth. You have the five senses that your body gives to you: sight, taste, hearing, touch, and smell.

There are more than that, but the next major sense that Sensory Attunement training helps develop further is proprioception. Proprioception is that sense that lets you know someone is staring at you, lets you know when someone is close without seeing them; lets helps you understand the energy that your feeling from someone’s aura (the part of you that relate that energy into a feeling; helps with empathy).

Start training this by using a limited amount of those original five senses to complete a task. Keep doing it until you do not need any of your primary senses to complete said task. Then move on!

Patience! Really this is one of the easiest to understand and one of the hardest to train. Why? Because patience is a virtue that not many have. In Psionics shit will take time! It will not be done in a day, in a week, or even a month. If you truly want to get to use the ability you always wanted it takes time and dedication.

People in high positions in sports and whatnots did not just train for a month to become a pro! It took time, a proper mentor, and dedication to get to their goal. Also, you need patience because you will make mistakes! Trial and error but keep your head high and keep at it.

Visualization! Visualization is equally as important as the other Psionic Foundations. It is used in nearly everything related with Psionics and Out of Body Projections. When we were younger visualization ran rampant in our minds. Society and Schooling have kind of dumbed it down in us. Little training exercise right now, one that I always use on my nooby students: Think of a Pig Exploding In your Living Room. If you could see it, you’re on the right track if not then stop thinking so damn hard.

Some people just say that this is your imagination but good dammit. Your visualizing something so keep at it, the mind is like a muscle, keep pushing what you can think of, see it, and get crazy with your visualization. You’re going to need it when it comes to other abilities.

Next is the actual Basics of Psionics! Now just know that when it comes to Kinesis a lot just deals with Mind Power but learning these basics will help turn that Mind Power into Mind Power Over
