Scene 1 (restaurant) (Sam enters the establishment)

Claire:  Hello and welcome to Barnabus’s Seafood Shack N’ Stuff. Table for one?

    Sam:  Yes, just one.

(Claire shows Sam to a table)

Claire: Here is a menu and Bill will be over to get your order soon. Have a great lunch.

    (Bill comes over to Sam)

Sam: What do you have that is good here?

Bill: The spaghetti is the best in south Georgia.

Sam: Yes, but this is Barnabusʼs Seafood Shack Nʼ Stuff.

Bill: Yeah, well the spaghetti is the Nʼ stuff part. The locals wanted a place that served Italian food too. Wait a minute? Donʼt I know you?

Sam: Yes, itʼs been a long time Bill.

Bill: I havenʼt seen you in over five years since you moved to the big city. You know...(medium pause here) Atlanta. What brings you back here?

Sam: I am settling my late Auntʼs estate.

Bill: Oh yeah, she ran that cat house off Interstate16, didnʼt she? Sorry to hear about your loss.  We all adored her.  She was always smiling when she came in here to eat.

Sam: Thanks. Yes, her cat shelter has received recognition and accolades from the Humane Society and I am looking to find someone to carry on her feline legacy for her, itʼs what she would have wanted.

Bill: So, you still doing private investigator work?

Sam: What can I say, itʼs a family tradition. It’s in my blood.

Bill: Well, itʼs good to see a local return, even if its under sadder circumstances. Let me grab that spaghetti for you.

Sam: Thanks, Bill. Good to see you too.

(a different waiter (HECTOR ) returns to the table with a plate of spaghetti)

Sam: This looks great. Whereʼs Bill? What did you say? (waiter mumbles and a gun shot goes off)

Sam: Oh my word! Sir, are you ok? What the heck?

Sam: Somebody call 911! Get an ambulance here, I don't feel a pulse.

Sam: "Bill! Who is the manager
