About this ebook

Once there was a little white owl who lived by himself in the snow. He didn’t have a mummy or a daddy. He didn’t even have a name. But he didn’t really mind too much - and his head was full of happy stories. Then one day the little owl sets off to see the world. When he meets some beautiful, colourful owls he can’t wait to share his stories, but these pretty owls do not want to be friends with a plain little owl like him. But will they change their minds when they hear his magical stories? Beautifully illustrated in vivid colours by the best-selling illustrator Jane Chapman (I’M NOT SLEEPY), this touching story by Tracey Corderoy (HUBBLE BUBBLE, GRANNY TROUBLE) celebrates difference and the beauty inside all of us. Perfect for beginning a discussion with preschoolers about how we shouldn’t judge others on how they look. Reviews "The Little White Owl is a charming story which is beautifully illustrated about a lonely little white owl who has a big imagination, which he uses to win the friendship of the more colourful owls." - Space on the Bookshelf "This is probably one of my favourite stories, ever. EVER. Tracey Corderoy is such a brilliant storyteller, and this teaches us to accept others who are different, and that the most important thing is what's inside. A brilliant message for kids (and adults too), and the little white owl is the most adorable character ever." - The Very Hungry Reader

This book is really good. I think it has a good theme too it and it shows that even if something is different it doesn't mean that you shouldn't give it a chance. The little white owl is different than the other owls that it meets and at first they tell the little white owl to go away. They didn't like the little white owl because it was different and not colorful enough for them. Since the little owl started sharing his stories they started to accept the little white owl. In the end they were all friends and I think for small children it has a great story to it.
