This story is based on a previous story titled The Red Chest that was published in The Historical Collection, a Victory Tales Press anthology of romance stories in 2011. I have expanded the story to give a fuller picture of both the Barrett and OKeefe families.My previous works include other short stories through Victory Tales Press entitled The Test of Time in the Summer Anthology, I Love Pie-which name I changed to The Sleeping Beauty Mystery, under which title you will find it here on SW. My novel, Angels Requiem, is a mystery thriller in paperback and ebook, which was published in 2010 here on Smashwords.
