About this ebook

A look into the past at Christmas, this book includes wonderful illustrations from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. It shows how Santas look has changed through even that brief timeframe to the character we are familiar with today. Also included is the classic Twas the Night before Christmas poem and a great short story from author J. Curtis Smith.

I would like to thank God, and my fiancée Toni Berry for all her hard work and patients. Also I would like to thank my two children, Austin Smith and Allison Smith. I love each of you.

The last painting in the book was commissioned by Sheila Kinsey a renowned Santa artist, from Dallas Texas. The oil painting features all the images that we perceive on Christmas Eve. Very few of us have ever seen the jolly old elf, because we should all be fast asleep on Christmas Eve. Thank you Sheila!
