The following chapters will discuss what the bulletproof diet is, some tips on how to follow the bulletproof diet, and slow cooker recipes that you are going to be able to follow so that you follow your new found diet and not feel guilty about eating things that you enjoy eating.
This is going to be the beginning of your new journey, from here on it, it is your choice to decide if you are going to continue to reap the benefits that you can gain from the bulletproof diet or if this diet is not for you and that you think you need to move on to something else.

Chapter one: What is the Bulletproof Diet
It is no surprise that the bulletproof diet is considered to be a fad due to the fact that when it first comes out, many people are going to follow it until the next new thing comes out.
The bulletproof diet was created by Dave Asprey, and it follows the pattern of eating a moderate amount of protein, very little carbohydrates, and mixing in a lot of fat to your diet. This is all based on a coffee drink that has butter and some kind of triglyceride inside of it that is derived from coconut oil.
This diet is going to focus mostly on you eating healthy fats which are fats that have been monounsaturated. On top of that, you are going to cut back on the number of carbohydrates that you are going to be eating.
Another thing that this diet recommends is that you fast intermittently all while drinking the bulletproof coffee.
It has been stated that the bulletproof diet can help with weight loss as well as decrease inflammation.
But just like any other diet that is out there, it is going to have those that say that it is not a good thing and that things such as having coffee on a diet is going to do nothing more than give you a caffeine buzz.
However, there are no scientific claims as to if the diet actually works or not. Everyone's body is different and is going to react differently to eating different amounts of carbohydrates and protein.
It is important that you do not start any diet without talking to your healthcare provider because you do not want to be harming your body as you are trying to help yourself.
