About this ebook
No one has said life is easybut for some, life seems to be so much harder than it is for others. If you are one whose life is difficult, it can seem as though it will never get better.
In his memoir, From Crack to Gary: My Journey to Our Savior, Jesus Christ, author Gary Thomas shows that does not have to be the case. Thomas shares his personal story of rising from a difficult childhood to become one of Gods beloved. Despite the troubles that Thomas faced, God had his hand in his life and saved him from several dangerous situations. God covered him with his mercy and grace, and he can do the same for you..
From Crack to Gary: My Journey to Our Savior, Jesus Christ also teaches and demonstrates how anyone can be delivered from worldly sins and live their life for Jesus Christ. God can transform your mind to be more like Jesus Christ, so you will know about his loving arms that surround us every minute of every day.

To my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ: I would not be here if it was not for your grace and mercy upon me.
To my parents, Henry Lee and Bessie Elizabeth Thomas: You are no longer on this earth, but I believe you are in heaven. I wish you were with me now to see the changes that I have made in my life. You are with me in spirit.
To all the readers who are struggling with addiction: There is a way out. Give your lives over to Jesus Christ. Once we surrender to him and profess that he died for all our sins and believe in him, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, our lives will no longer be the same. We will become new creatures in Christ Jesus, who will give us the strength to carry on. Believe in Jesus Christ—and he will set you free!
Introduction
This is to let you know how I was leading my life for the enemy (Satan). I was lying, cheating, and using all types of drugs that almost cost me my life. There was a day in my life when I was about to be killed. I called out the name Jesus, and my life was saved. I know there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. All we have to do is be open to making a change in our lives and be tired of being sick and tired. We need to turn over a new leaf in our lives so that we may possess and have the promises that God has given us for being obedient to his Word.
What you will gain from reading this book is how God will have his hands on your life even when you do not deserve to have him protecting you. Even though we are still breathing on this earth, God loves us. No matter what we are going through, a time will come when he will lift his grace and let the enemy devour you. It will be too late to live by his commandments because Satan has his hands on you. His only assignment is to kill, steal, and destroy you.
God was always in my life because of his grace and mercy. Even though I was going down a path of destruction, God made me realize that I could lead a better life by living my life for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
