Tamara Jo Cortez

Flow Notes is a manifest well-being and information seed that came to Tamara Cortez as she began creatively writing with the intention that we all awaken as we see the reflection of the universe in each being. As Tamara began writing and sharing her notes with those who willingly participated in this consciousness project through her e-mail list, she came to understand that what was happening within herself on a microcosmic level was happening with others and community on a macro level. Her drive to connect through her notes so that others knew they were not alone in their “growth” propelled a seven-year writing project. As Flow Notes grew, the messages became profound, and Tamara allowed these notes to flow through her for the benefit of human consciousness. Connecting in this way became more than just a weekly note, but also putting aside the ego and allowing for divine guidance and advice to come through not just for herself, but all who read them. She realized that in the toughest times of her life, Flow Notes was the flickering light at the end of the tunnel. The main goal was to be of service through these notes and at times be openly naked to the hurt and what it had to teach her and how we are all connected through this web of life. After a bicycle accident in 2008 and months of recovery, Tamara realized that releasing these notes needed to be done on a massive scale. These notes were no longer hers to keep but for the world to enjoy and be inspired to the wholeness of who they are.

    Introduction

Flow Notes is designed to bring about conscious awareness and mindfulness every week. After I started the consciousness project, there came a realization of how greatly it had been benefiting all those who participated and the energy that transformed in daily life was the reflection we had upon each other and the community. We were learning as we participate in this project; there is no separation between each of us. We are not just part of life. We ARE LIFE itself! As we awaken, we see the reflection in each being and know that there are greater purposes to our Being rather than just going through tough times for no reason.

Flow Notes was born out of the observation that what is happening on a microcosm level is happening on a macro level with others around us and in the world. A realization came as I shared some of my most trying times with others; that they too were going through some sort of growth period as well. I wasn’t alone, and as my ego at times would isolate me in my turmoil, I wasn’t the only one having these experiences. I came to feel a relief and the lessons of life didn’t seem so overwhelming and consuming as I shared. I felt that I too can overcome these life lessons and be victorious as I had seen others do. I just reminded my Self to connect in times of need instead of letting my ego get the best part of me when I was down. I decided to do a consciousness project and all those who I spoke to that were interested would willingly give me their address to add to a list which I would email every week with something to help them through the week. While I sat down to write these notes to others, I meditated on What am I going through right now, and what would Source like me and others to know which will help with this situation or experience?.

The seed was planted and Flow Notes sprouted. I use the word, Flow as in flowing through life, learning our lessons (not getting stuck on one tiny thing that my ego would stall on), being like a river through life, letting go, and just flowing. I realized that this was the feeling I would get after I would write a note. I felt I could move on to the next thing and there was a light of hope in all of it again. I used the word Note as in writing a sticky note to your Self and posting it on your mirror or wall to remind you that, this too shall pass and positive affirmations to help at times.

After 6 years of writing, I began to get the message that these Notes were no longer for me and my participants to keep in our circle but they are meant to be shared with the world to expand our consciousness and growth. I am ever grateful to all who participated in this project over 6 years ago and still participating to this day. It is my readers who have helped expand my ever growing knowledge and devotion to communication with Source over the years by their mere existence.

My wish is that each reader feel the Presence within themselves as they read each Note. To Know that there is a light that shines within each Being that is meant to be shared, honored, and valued. That your purpose for being here is to add your light to the world.

    My Deepest Gratitude,

    Tamara
