INTRODUCTION
Losing weight is supposed to be a fun experience, a process enjoyed and a lifestyle that can be completely adapted. These were some of the features I was out for when searching for a diet that will help me effectively shed my weight, lose fat and live a generally healthier life.
The search was long, and tiring until I came across the Ketogenic diet. The Ketogenic diet is a diet that is low in carbohydrate, with a high content of fat and allows a moderate intake of protein. It works by starving the body system of carbohydrate (that the body has gotten use to breaking down into glucose for energy) and forcing the system into a state known as ketosis wherein the body starts to process fats (instead of carbohydrates) into ketones which are then used as an energy source.
With a diet majorly focused on fat and restricting carbohydrate to the barest minimum, coupled with my love for everything bread (which unfortunately are mostly baked with carbohydrate dense flour) I was torn between my love for bread and my desire to burn fat. Well I choose to burn fat and let go of my soft spot for bread but then it was only a matter of time before my cravings for flour baked meals came rushing back, this time stronger than ever.
It was this craving and un resilient determination of losing weight that spurred me into a research about making keto friendly breads. From a lover of everything bread and determined ketoer, after numerous experiments, trails and errors, failed experiments albeit successful ones, I have been able to come up with 50 sumptuous bread recipes that will satisfy your hunger for bread without affecting your weight loss goals.

GUIDE TO KETOGENIC DIET
The ketogenic diet is a low-carbohydrate, with high-fat and moderate protein diet. Its main purpose is to continually deprive the body of carbohydrates so as to drive the body into a state of ketosis, forcing the body system to burn fat instead of sugar for survival.
What Is Ketosis?
Ketosis is a natural state the body system attains after which it has been deprived of food in other to survive. At this point, the body begins to produce ketones instead of glucose for the body to use as energy. The ketones produced at this point, are gotten from the breakdown of fats stored in the body.
It is at this point that we can say, the body is in or has reached ketosis.
