    by Vasily Mahanenko

Barliona is a brand-new virtual world which offers everyone the chance to start a new life as a valiant knight, a hero or a beautiful princess. Many people have come here in search of a new identity.

Still, for some users Barliona has become their biggest nightmare. They are convicts sentenced to serving their term in virtual reality with their sensory filters disabled. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - P. D. H.

Love, love this book. It is one of the best litRPG fiction I have read. I like the fact that the MC is not sick or ill in real life but is put in the game by the government system with hints of it being more. It is even better that he is using the game system to get one up on them. I have since read the book three times waiting for the second book to be translated a put out.

    ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - Tim

I've read a few lit RPGs already, and I am super critical of novels in general. This novel was EXCELLENT. One of my favorite novels that I have ever read. Read it in a single day even though I have a super short attention span. Do yourself a favor and read this series (of course, read the first novel before this one!!)!

    ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ – Nate Thompson

I picked up the book and settled in to be disappointed. I was far from disappointed. We weren't treated to the whole. People live forever in game their bodies die! That fills most of these books. We were given a rather unique perspective. Prisoners put to work in game. Living their lives if they manage parole, in a fantasy world. Great premise I thought. Figured we'd fall apart eventually. Mahanenko made the Prison term spent at the mine, entertaining. We had loot, We had professions, classes and even mobs. Then toward the end, we even got treated to dungeon run. With the loot included.

Way of the Shaman comic book

by Vasily Mahanenko and Art Takaar

Barliona. A virtual world jam-packed with monsters, battles - and predictably, players. Millions of them come to Barliona, looking forward to the things they can't get in real life: elves and magic, dragons and princesses, and unforgettable combat. The game has become so popular that players now choose to spend months online without returning home. In Barliona, anything goes: you can assault fellow players, level up, become a mythical hero, a wizard or a legendary thief. The only rule that attempted to regulate the game demanded that no player was allowed to feel actual pain.

But there's an exception to every rule. For a certain bunch of players, Barliona has become their personal hell. They are criminals sent to Barliona to serve their time. They aren't in it for the dragons' gold or the abundant loot. All they want is to survive the virtual inferno. They face the ultimate survival quest.

    The Dark Paladin

    by Vasily Mahanenko

What if our world is only a game and all of us just stage props for the real players? Sergey Lemeshev - or Yari as he prefers to call himself - could never dream that one day he might become one of the players: those who build and control this world.

Yari becomes a Paladin, a supposed warrior of light and justice. But only when he plunges himself into this new world does he fully realize the scope of its decay and corruption. He decides
