She learned the business - and how to use the Silva techniques in business, creativity, parenting, sports, and more - from the ground up.She started by taking orders, working in the mail room, and running the shipping department.After a few years, she moved to Austin, Texas, and went to work in the state government bureaucracy.While working for the state, she started her own Silva business, Avlis Productions Inc., and soon grew it into a full time business with representatives in many countries around the world.In addition to managing the business, she is also a full time mother to her young daughter Lily.
