Description
What does it take to be a MTNmeister? Eric Larsen is a polar explorer, expedition guide, dog musher, and educator. The list of Eric’s accomplishments in exploration is extensive. In 2006, he and his partner Lonnie Dupre completed the first ever summer expedition to the North Pole where they paddled modified canoes through 550 miles of the ocean and ice. In 2009, he completed a 750-mile ski traverse to the south pole. Eric was the first person in history to reach the world’s three poles (the third being Everest) within a 365-day period.
