Wise Words for Married Folks
()
About this ebook
With the advent of insane TeeVee shows such as “Married at first sight” and 90-Day fiancé,” and the general trivialization of marriage, it is not surprising that many of them don’t last. The missing ingredients are getting to know your future partner and coming to some agreement of how to treat each other. These shows imply that you can bypass these essentials and still achieve success. That is so far from the truth. The “Wise Words” assume that you have taken the time to get to know each other. They can help in that phase of your union, but their real value is establishing real expectation on how each of you wishes to be treated. This is usually not resolved in advance and is a major cause of conflict and eventually failure and separation.
If you both follow them diligently, your union can be so much more rewarding and long-lasting.
The “Wise Words” provide a condensed guide for enhancing any marriage experience. Print out the “Wise Words” and put them in a prominent location for both of you to see and for reference. Learn them, and let them guide your marriage to success and fulfillment. Try it!

Emily Hulse and Sean Long
On their first date - 2011
Sean and Emily met on their first date eight years ago. They were uncommonly responsible youngsters but initially drifted apart. Some time later they realized they had met someone special. They developed a serious bond and friendship and were quickly on the road to becoming responsible young adults. Despite all the negative distractions of our world, they apparently were making all the right decisions. I thought they were good candidates to introduce to the Wise Words.
It was not the first time that the introduction of the Words
enhanced a strong and already solid friendship. My hope is that they can do the same for others. Both of you give a try to following the Words.
Today’s couples need all the help they can get to enhance and prolong their union. You have nothing to lose. Follow Emily and Sean’s example. Then you may be able to find true happiness as well.

"Among the many loving things a man can do for his woman,
his soul mate, his love, his bride are these four:
To love her passionately and unconditionally;
To inspire and rejoice in her happiness;
To suffer with her by her side during her trials;
To honor her by writing adoringly about her when she is gone
God has gifted me the privilege to have done all four.
I have accomplished all that is of any importance in my life.
Lord, my work is complete.
I am ready to join her when You call."
