    Before Starting—The Key to Success

    Uncovering what is wrong with a business can be easy. Understanding why it is wrong can be a little harder. Fixing what is wrong can be harder still. However, the key to successful transformation of a business is simple. So, without further ado, let's head to the golden nugget of this book.

    We as business owners need to be aware that the disconnections of a business are typically (potentially 99% of the time) not standalone. They are interlinked with other areas of the business and their disconnections, which result in a domino effect. As such, success comes from going through my disconnect-reconnect method in its entirety, finding not only the disconnections, but how each disconnection is linked to others.

    We should anticipate that disconnections are interlinked, and to completely understand them, we need information from the business owner, staff, and clients as well as information about competitors and finances.
