An Experience - Hoy Monk II
The Prologue
PERSPECTIVE ON THE ROAD TO EXPERIENCE
Synopsis
Have you ever wanted to change how you approach some of the most pressing circumstances in your life? Whether it’s a relationship with God and not religion,
dealing with the realities of temptation, or being satisfied with your husband or wife. Whether it’s recovering from the loss of a loved one, learning how to make your dreams come true or coming out of depression, this book is your starting point. Regardless of what you are facing, it all starts with your perspective. How you approach life’s circumstances will change your experience—as well as the results!
Religion
Oh, how I never care to know you.
Judgmental, rituals and you hold people captive, too.
How could something that is
supposed to help be this way?
I can hear it now, well … you know what they say.
How can God be real with all that’s going on?
Murder. Jealousy. Deceit. My sister’s baby is gone!
He doesn’t care about you; it’s all just lies.
Fabrications, fairytales and all that applies.
And explain these holy people
and
the terrible things they do.
I bet you don’t have an answer, do you?
See what you caused, religion?
The hurt on top of all these badgering questions.
[Smiles] Whew, now that’s off my chest.
I’m glad I was taught truth and what was best.
I guess you can call it the formula
to winning championships.
God does not desire religion,
but He desires relationships!
"Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses? Jesus replied,
You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments. "
~Matthew 22: 3640
PRAYER:
Father God, I thank you that even you have a problem with religion. You desire relationship, not religion. Thank you for guiding me into a deeper, more connected relationship withThe Complete You, The Tri Part Being that you are. After I have a better connected relationship with you, I thank you that you are helping me have a better, deeply connected relationship with myself and others. I want others to be drawn to you because of the relationship I have with you. In Jesus’ name,
I pray. Amen.
"Live in such a way that those who know you, but don’t know God, will come to know God because they know you. "

MARRIED with Temptation
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Girl, he is fine. Make sure he sees your butt when you walk by.
[A WOMAN]
My name is Melania . . . Hi!
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
Man, did you see her butt? Oh my!
[A HUSBAND]
[Laughs] I saw what you did. You tried to catch my eye.
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
He’s onto us. Quick, come with a different play.
[A WOMAN]
I was just speaking. You don’t have to be that way.
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
She was showing you something, but that’s okay.
[A HUSBAND]
Oh, okay. My name is Brandon. How is your day?
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Way to play if off. Whew, that was a close one.
[A WOMAN]
I have been watching you at work. You look like you like to have fun.
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
Is she hitting on you? Oh, snap! Load the clip and show her that man gun!
[A HUSBAND]
[Speaking to Temptation in his mind: Shut up! ]
[Now to her] Really, what kind of fun?
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
He’s hooked. Now close the deal!
[A WOMAN]
I don’t know, but you should let me cook you a meal.
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
Oh, yeah. She fine and can cook? This one is a steal!
[A HUSBAND]
Thanks for the offer. That’s so nice of you to want to cook me a meal.
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Girl, hurry up and finish this conversation! We have some lingerie to get.
[A WOMAN]
So, you coming over is legit?
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
Those panties are dropping tonight. You know she want you to hit.
[A HUSBAND]
Absolutely! Can I come over about six?
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Girl, I’m so proud of you stepping up your promiscuity.
[A WOMAN]
Six? Absolutely!
[HUSBAND’S TEMPTATION]
Man, I look at you so proudly.
[A HUSBAND]
Cool, I’m looking forward to this excitedly!
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
I love how you saw his ring and still came in cold as ice.
[A WOMAN]
[To Temptation: I learned from the best]
[Now to the Husband: ] Tonight, wear something nice.
[SMALL STILL VOICE]
You must shift momentum on her. Her intentions are different than you think. She wants to mess up your life.
[A HUSBAND]
I can’t wait to come over, so you can meet my wife!
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Wife smife. Don’t give up. Stay on the hunt!
[A WOMAN]
Why would you want to bring your wife? If I may be blunt.
[SMALL STILL VOICE]
Way to flip it, Son. She’s being influenced. So, she’s bold, relentless and cut throat. Boot her like a punt!
[A HUSBAND]
I have on my ring; did you think it was a front?
[WOMAN’S TEMPTATION]
Girl, he is saying stuff he does not mean.
[A WOMAN]
I thought you liked me. Why are you being so mean?
[SMALL STILL VOICE]
Skip that. You did good. That fake sympathy she’s trying to feed you doesn’t mean a thing!
[A HUSBAND]
No offense, but there is no comparison. I adore and love my wife and queen!
PRAYER:
Father God, living as a married man in today’s world is very tough, but I thank you for being my source of help. I have all I need to never give in to temptation. You are helping me place the proper guidelines, rules and accountability systems in place that would help me stay the course and remain faithful to my wife. But most importantly, it will help me remain faithful to you. Father God, thank you that I never have to go through a temptation alone, even in the ones I brought on myself. You still helped me get out. Thank you and I ask that you continue to help and keep me focused on living a life that glorifies you. If I have fallen and given into temptation, you have restoration available. If I sincerely repent, and want to clean up my act, you
