Hey!, This is Pranav M Sreejith a writer in his early twenties, an engineering student born and bought up in Kannur, Kerala. Writing has been an escape from reality for him and has been doing it since a couple of years, for him the journey began when he was in high school, started from scribbling his anger down on a piece of paper and a couple of years later typing them down on a social platform under the handle @inkeddialect. An year from that day he is now published in over twenty books across the world.

    My Heartaches song

    Time stops

    The world ignited

Sparks flare from where our fingers touch

My heart beats out of sync with my mind

How could all of this have started?

Will the ending be something that I find?

    You’re so wonderful

    You blaze like the sun

    But I’m a shadow,

    just another no one.

So tell me, before I butcher our chances

If there’s anything here at all

    If there’s any second glances

Cause part of me wants all my hope to be true

But my hope steers wrong so much

And I am hopelessly in love with you

I answer like a sailor to your siren call

Do you wonder what’s the reason?

Do you even care at all?

I’m a wolf caught in your moonlight

    Howling out your name

Do you shine more just for me

Or is your glow always the same?

    Cause you’re so freaking wonderful

For me you’re the whole galaxy

You shine far brighter than the sun

And what could I ever bring for you

To be worth even talking to....

    I’m just a no one

    I’m just a wisp

I am nothing that I know you’d ever miss

So why do I want to try?

And... you’ll never see this poem that I wrote for you

All full of longing pretty words

Cause what would they even do?

You would pity me for speaking my mind

After all someone like me isn’t hard to find.

    I’m a shadow,

    Just another no one

I shy away from your light

Hide in my words just to feel alright

When all I want to feel is your arms around me tight

    But I’m rambling and shambling

This has gone on too long

    For one stupid poem

    For my heartache’s song

    The murmurs

He has a bookshelf for a heart,

And ink runs through his veins,

he’ll write you into his story,

With the typewriter in his brain,

    His bookshelf’s getting crowded,

With all the stories that he’s penned,

Of the people who flicked through his pages,

But closed the book before the end,

And there’s one pushed to the very back,

    That sits collecting dust,

With its title in his finest writing,

    The murmurs of the night,

There’s books he’s scared to open,

    And books he doesn’t close,

Stories of every person he’s met,

    Stretched out in endless rows,

Some people have only a sentence,

While others once held the main part,

    Thousands of inky footprints,

That they’ve left across his heart,

You might wonder why he does this,

Why wrote of people he once knew?

But he hopes one day he’ll mean enough,

For someone to write about him too
