      Glennon Doyle's book Untamed starts with her experience in a zoo with her wife and kids. The family was watching the zoo's show called Cheetah run. In this show, the cheetah chased a stuffed pink rabbit that was attached to the back of a vehicle. After the run, the cheetah began circling the perimeter of the cage in which it was kept. The author's daughter had remarked, pointing to the cheetah that the animal had turned wild again.  Doyle used this metaphor to show how women are tamed since their birth right up to their marriage by society's patriarch nature. She says that girls generally lose their self-identity when they reach 10 years of age and start learning to please others. They work hard to fit in the terms ‘good girl’ and a ‘good woman’. Women tend to get tamed to be quiet and accommodating instead of being outspoken about their feelings and
