Nirvana - Michael Tavon
For Sara,
To the perfect stranger from afar
Who has yielded more support
Than those closest to me
your heart beats hard
enough To shift mountains
Yet still holds the softness of a
raindrop In an industry filled with ego
maniacs, manipulators, and users
I’ve found you, a writer who supports
without an agenda
A human with a humble spirit
And a woman with words that’s genuine
I appreciate you honestly
Truly your soul is filled with inspiration
That you pour into the world
And I thank you for being you
I thank you for understanding
As I can say without a doubt
You are my first true author friend

Piece Two
11 more days: after we finish this marathon. After we cross the finish line. We’ll finally begin our forever together. I’ve learned to appreciate this wait. I’ve falling in love with the distance. You’re worth every minute spent waiting. You’re worth every mile traveled. My heart is so open for you. My love is overflowing. Everything about our love, our relationship has been done right, distance and time, set our foundation, nothing is knocking us down. We’ve learned to love each other with little physical contact. I feel your heart beating for me when I pray, that’s how connected we are. Time and distance tested our will, our patience, and loyalty. No temptation was strong enough to tear our bond apart. Here we are as happy as ever. Yes, some nights were harder than others. When I yearn to roll over and caress your inner thigh and you’re not there I’m struck by disappointment then I dream of us making trips to the grocery store, making out at concerts and exploring the world.
I wake up with joy knowing soon we’ll be together, face to face, every night for the rest of our lives.
