Set between Book 2 (Treasured Sands) and before Book 3 (Shifting Sands) at any point when Saera is still indulging her instinctive need to give her Gheyo side some space in the dueling arenas.
1 The Return Home - Saera
Saera's damp Flexi-suit sparked and cracked at all the wrong places as she limped down the street leading to Orion's house. The darkness of the evening and the creeping shadowy fog of the current property section was never very inviting at all, but there was some comfort in the darkness hiding her current state.
Healing was slow and sluggish, evident in the way she was forced to limp along the sloping sidewalk on the way to the looming two-story house in the middle of the street. Larger on the inside than it appeared on the outside, it was the current residence and safe haven of her new life, just like the freedom that came from taking another set of Unlucky Thirteen duels to
