Do you or does someone you know have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis? Do you realise that by calling it CFS/ME the NHS is able to treat this physical neurological disease with purely psychological pseudo-treatments? Treatments which make ME patients even more ill?
ME is a listed by the World Health Organisation as a neurological disease. The World Health Organisation which lists all known diseases has no listing for CFS/ME . CFS stands for chronic fatigue syndrome and ME is not a syndrome it is a disease. There is a large and growing body of medical evidence which demonstrates this, but it is being wilfully ignored by the NHS, who leave the treatment of ME to psychiatrists who call it CFS/ME because they do not accept that ME actually exists.
