Communications Intern-Haiti

Function: This position will work under the supervision of the Haiti country director to implement a communications plan for the Haiti country program and to manage and facilitate communications and administrative aspects of Heifer Haiti, providing direct support to the country director to create communication pieces and concepts related to Heifer Haitis work. Responsibilities: A. B. C. D. E. F. Develop and deliver internal and external communications on behalf of Heifer Haiti. Manage daily information requests from Americas Area and external entities. Coordinate displays, slideshows and public relations materials for Heifer Haiti. Aid in the development of promotional materials. Promote effective communication between Heifer Haiti and headquarters. Coordinate and/or facilitate arrangements for travel, meetings, conferences and workshops. G. Develop new information sharing tools as well as monitor or improve existing ones. H. Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree (or enrollment in a degree program) in communications, public relations or a related field. Excellent English and French speaking skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate, edit and translate and/or interpret as needed required. (Spanish speaking skills a plus)

**This internship will be located in Haiti for 3-6 months. This is an unpaid internship, however room, board and travel expenses will be paid. The intern must speak fluent French and English. Applicants should email their resume, school transcripts and cover letter to interns@heifer.org
