Unreachable Destiny Without A Sympathetic Life In this world, we all rely on each other no matter what ethnic group

we belong to. Being a helping hand for each other, showing concern and condolence, being supportive and united during hard times is called sympathy. To me sympathy is one of the ways of making someone happy with merciful character without the need of money. Self-interested, selfesteemed people will never show sympathy towards others, nor will they accept it from others. They criticise and blame needy people rather than helping them. When these people fall on hard times, society is apathetic rather than sympathetic to them. Actually, being sympathetic to someone brings back his/her self-confidence and motivation to live an optimistic life rather than spending ages crying over spilt milk. In my eighteen years of life, some of the biggest problems I faced were that I was never confident in my goals and was always worried. It was also very hard for me to keep my teenage temptations in check. As a result, I lost my focus and interest in studies. However, my father encouraged me to be positive and that brought back my confidence and interest in studies. It is the turnaround moment that I will always give credit to for excelling in my grade ten and twelve examinations. Some prolific personalities from history are Martin Luther King Jr. who tried his best to end racial discrimination in United States. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, first president of the UAE, helped the neighbouring underdeveloped Asian countries by providing their unemployed people with numerous jobs and has given donations all around the world. Finally, we should be sympathetic to our people and help them reach their destiny and leave footprints in sands of times.
