    Position: Service Engineer Location: Malton (North Yorkshire) Type: Permanent Salary: 25-35k per annum with up to 10k

    Our client is a leading global supplier of oil and gas metering computer systems and associated products and services to the petrochemical industry. As a consequence of our continued success in the market they are currently looking to fill the above position Responsible for interpretation of customer requirements, design, documentation, build; test, installation and commissioning of measurement and control systems for oil and gas applications and experience in fiscal metering would be an advantage. Our client has a strong career development programme and depending upon size/complexity of the project you may in time be assigned as a Project Lead where you will be the primary technical interface with the customer. You will lead projects or work as part of a project team, working to timescales and budgets whilst adhering to the company Quality System procedures. To be successful in your application you must be willing to work outside of the UK for between 10 and 40% of the year. This will result in a salary supplement of up to 10,000 on top of the basic rate.

    Experience in a process, Control and instrumentation industry. Qualified to HNC minimum in an engineering discipline. Experience in a hands on engineering role. Electric Fault Finding Experience. Awareness of software configuration relating to flow computing devices, HMI graphical interfaces and/or Honeywell Experion DCS systems. PLC s, Flow Computers and HMI/SCADA Control systems/instrumentation design experience Control systems/instrumentation build experience Control systems/instrumentation test/fault finding experience Technical documentation capability Capable of creating/understanding electrical schematic/loop drawings
