Watch swamp video and listen to swamp sounds. Pick up sticks and float them in a pan, discuss how alligators look like logs when they are floating in water. Mix shaving cream and food coloring and play with plastic reptiles and amphibians in the mixture (Great Bathtime Activity). Watch the videos about the color Green and the Number 1. Go to the zoo and look for swamp animals. Make bird noises and pretend to fly. Why do these birds hang out in the swamp? Find the number 1 and the word one. Find the day's colors. Reuse sticks to build a beaver dam and discover why they build them. Be a family of beavers. Discover what sounds these swamp mamals make. Find 1 item and match it to the number and the word. Practice being a bobcat and then a beaver. Touch fur. Point out trees.
