SHERWOOD MERRYWALKERS MEETING MINUTES AUGUST, 2012 The Merrywalker's August meeting was held at the Refuge on August

t 6th, and called to order by President Jane Leider. Treasurer Mike Uyemura reported a checking account balance of $853.31, with 2 walk box deposits pending, and a payment due in the near future for 11 walks that will be sanctioned for 2013. Lynette Waller reported that the paid membership is now at 74. Mary Fribley and Sandy Reid described the new Ibach Park and Wilsonville Water Treatment Plant walks. Both will be added to the Merrywalker's schedule in 2013. Mary also displayed a sample sheet of corrugated plastic material and suggested it as a possible replacement for the corrugated cardboard currently used for walk signs. This change will be tested and evaluated in the near future. Bill Brennock reminded everyone of the importance of having Merrywalker club and event information displayed at the Sherwood YMCA and at the Wilsonville tourism office. Jane will make sure both locations are stocked with current information. There was no further old or new business, so the meeting adjourned. Respectfully submitted, Mary Fribley Secretary
