I am inviting everyone in the District to take part in an auction that is part of fundraising for my campaign to become your next

HRM Councillor. This Auction will be running the remainder of August and the first part of September with the winner being announced at a Variety show in early September. The item that you will be bidding on is ....ME!! To prove I am willing to work hard for you in the future, I have decided to auction myself off now to the highest bidder, for one 8 hour work day. At the winners convenience, I will be willing to do any reasonable labour that the winner might have for me, whether it is mowing your lawns, painting your shed, or splitting your wood, I will give you an honest days work.

There is a $5.00 fee to place a bid. On a piece of paper please: Write down your name and Phone number. Write down the value of the highest amount you are willing to bid for my 8 hours of work. Place it in an envelope with the $5.00 fee. Drop it in the mail, give it to me in person, or call me to pick it up.
